FACE consisted of multiple large-scale digital self-portraits of myself that completely cover the gallery floors. To enter into the gallery space, viewers must walk across the images and inevitably defile them. I conducted performances as a part of this installation work during which I washed the photographs after they had been walked on by visitors, then used the dirty water to wash my face. The project toured to a number of venues including The Print Studio in Hamilton, Latitude 53 Gallery in Edmonton, La Centrale Galerie Power House in Montreal, Canada, Cepa Gallery in Buffalo, NY, US and I concluded the project at the Whanki Museum, Seoul, Korea in 2015.
